Frank Jonas is the Founder of Fidelitas Defense. Frank is a mission driven leader, with over two decades of national service. He brings deep expertise at the intersection of cybersecurity, insider risk, and critical infrastructure.
Frank started his career as a U.S. Marine Corps Officer (Intelligence / Cyber), serving 20 years across active and reserve duty. His military service includes tours at U.S. Cyber Command and the National Security Agency, in Computer Network Defense operations. Following active duty service, he joined the FBI as a Special Agent (Cyber), proudly serving 18 of his 20 year career in field operations from the New York & Newark Field Divisions. Retiring from the FBI in 2022, he was Director of Cyber Threat Detection & Response for JnJ (Kenvue) in their London, UK, office until 2024, when he founded Fidelitas Defense.
Frank is a Part-Time, DPhil (PhD) Candidate (2025-2030) at the University of Oxford, Dept. of Engineering Science. Frank's research thesis is Autonomous Systems & Robotics - Systems Engineering & Cybersecurity vulnerabilities. He holds an MSE in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology .
Greg Lynch is the Co-Founder of Fidelitas Defense, bringing over two decades of leadership in counterintelligence, insider threat mitigation, and intelligence operations for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).
Greg's global experience includes close collaboration with U.S. and Allied Intelligence Partners, as well as strategic engagement with major defense acquisition organizations, including the DoD Joint Artificial Intelligence Center. In addition to his national security expertise, Gregory has successfully launched and led a business in the Washington, D.C. area, with a strong focus on business development and early-stage growth. He holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, and is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College.
Greg Knutson is the Head of Global Business Development at Fidelitas Defense, with over 20 years of leadership experience in aerospace, defense, and autonomous systems. He specializes in connecting advanced technologies with mission-critical applications, bridging the gap between innovation and operational needs.
As a U.S. Navy Officer, Greg led global operations flying manned aircraft and autonomous platforms. His leadership roles included Head of Operations for a nuclear aircraft carrier, Commanding Officer of a tactics development squadron, and a Joint Staff assignment at the Pentagon, overseeing global intelligence collection operations. After active duty, he transitioned to leading business development for aerospace, space, and physical AI startups, supporting their growth in defense and commercial markets. He advises Deep Tech ventures on go-to-market strategies, strategic partnerships, and scaling operations.
Greg holds a B.S. in Oceanography from the United States Naval Academy, an M.S. in Global Business Leadership from the University of San Diego, and is currently pursuing his Executive MBA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Jonathan McGrath is the Global Director of Risk and Compliance of Fidelitas Defense.
Jonathan brings over 21 years of combined military leadership, disaster preparedness, and cybersecurity expertise to Fidelitas Defense. Highlights of his experience include significant tours at the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA), and U.S. Cyber Command - Cyber National Mission Force, where he was both "hands on keyboard", and a trusted leader of highly complex cyber operations. His professional background spans team leadership of specialists, infrastructure security assessment, and the development of adaptive risk management frameworks that balance rigorous protection with practical implementation.
Jonathan holds an MA in Intelligence Studies from the American Military University.
